Works with the Parish Treasurer, Church staff and the Vestry to develop and to oversee the administration of the Church Budget. Advise the Vestry and the congregation of the Church’s financial condition at appropriate intervals including recommending an annual budget at the Annual Meeting.  Advise the Vestry regarding extraordinary existing or evolving financial circumstances, providing oversight and assurance that Church funds are being administered in accordance with all applicable Bylaws and Policies. Act as a sounding board and clearing house for financial requests that do not fall clearly in existing budget categories. Recommend to the Vestry changes in financial management practices, when appropriate. Work with the Vestry, Ministry Teams, and Church staff to plan and implement an annual stewardship campaign, including special events that will encourage Christian stewardship of time, talent and treasure.
